But these flourishes don't mask mediocre performance, especially in the refrigerator's freezer and an ineffective temperature-controlled drawer. Since this refrigerator is an extra amount, I'd like to see better.

This fridge is a good choice, despite the small blip. It comes with a huge freezer compartment, which is quite uncommon in counter-depth French door fridges, and it can hold a decent amount of frozen food as compared to similar models.

The fridge has 17 shelves and compartments. The fridge compartment has 18.5 cubic feet, which is the standard for a French-door refrigerator at this price. It has a decent-sized refrigerator with an ice maker in the left door. However it's not the most spacious one I've seen.

You can adjust the shelves in both compartments to create custom storage setup for what you want to store. The interior design of the GE PYE22PYNFS is also attractive. The LED lighting is an attractive accent. The bins for storage inside have a third shelf which can be folded down to store tall objects. The drawers come with temperature controls that let you set them to Meat, Beverage, or Deli settings. They're easy to open and close, however I found their textured plastic coatings to be a little rough on the fingers.

The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator includes the all the features you'd expect from a fridge at this price that includes Wi-Fi as well as app support via GE's SmartHQ software. The app, which is available for iOS and Android devices can let you control your refrigerator from anywhere in the world, and it has numerous options for customization. It also sends you notifications when the door is unlocked, when the fridge or freezer needs to be defrosted, and when the filter has to be changed.

It would be nice to have GE PYE22PYNFS had Precise Fill which is a feature available in a handful of GE refrigerators that allows users to set the number of cups they would like to dispense. It also has a countdown on the display of the fridge to display how much water you have left, but it's not as helpful as Precise Fill.

Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

It is designed to look like a seamless part of your kitchen, Bosch's French-door refrigerator is one of a kind. The fridge uses fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, which is a great feature for busy households. It also has a veggie compartment that keeps fruits and vegetables fresher for longer periods, and two compressors for preserving food items. The Ice maker we tested is one of the most efficient and makes pyramid shaped ice using minimal water. This refrigerator is ideal for a small household or kitchenette that needs a built-in appearance and top-of-the best food preservation.

This fridge was the top-rated refrigerator in our Refrigerators Test for various reasons. The temperature of the freezer remained stable at a level that was just above 0 degrees Fahrenheit, and never fluctuating by more than a fraction one degree. This is crucial to avoiding freezer burn. The fridge section of the fridge also performed well. It reached the initial temperature within a matter of hours, and remained at that temperature throughout our testing.

Bosch is known for its premium appliances and appliances, so it's not a surprise that this counter depth refrigerator is also a smart appliance, with the option to connect to your home Wi-Fi as well as Bosch's Home Connect platform. The app allows you to monitor and control your refrigerator remotely from your tablet or smartphone. The fridge is a bit expensive, but it offers great features and capabilities for the price.

While the fridge is an amazing appliance however, it is important to understand the limitations. It has a limited shelf space, so you may require some creativity when storing tall items. Also the shelves aren't sprillproof and can be easily stained or damaged by sharp objects. The trays can be easily removed from the refrigerator. However, they should be cleaned regularly to prevent the growth of mold.

LG Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The LG LRFLC2706S counter-depth fridge is a great option for those who require plenty of space in an extremely compact frame. It has a sleek, fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel finish and features thick handles that make them comfortable to grip. The fridge has an ordinary French door layout, with two rows of shelving with spill-capture and a set crisper drawers. The top shelf to the right can be folded in order to create more space for tall items. There's also a full-width storage drawer for deli items and an internal water dispenser.

One of the nice features of this refrigerator is that its Ice maker is located in the freezer, which makes it simple to move frozen ice to the fridge to be used when it is needed. The freezer also comes with innovative design features like sliding drawers that help you organize your items. It also has a large bin that can hold plenty of frozen food and an container for storing ice.

Smart InstaView panel is a cool feature of the refrigerator.  french style fridge freezer  can manage the temperature, lighting and other aspects of your refrigerator from your smartphone. It's a simple method to keep track of your refrigerator and control it, especially when away from home.

Although the Smart InstaView is a neat feature, it doesn't necessarily enhance the overall performance of the refrigerator. The refrigerator took longer to chill food and defrost it than other models we test. This is likely due to the bigger capacity.

Another issue with the doors of this refrigerator. The sunken handles let shorter people open them from the bottom. However, taller people still struggle to close them without slamming them. It would have been much better if they had front-mounted handles.

The LG Counter-Depth MAX fridge is an excellent choice for those looking to blend the look and feel of a French-door refrigerator with more efficient design. Its capacity is superior for a counter-depth model, and it cools evenly and has a great layout. It's also a little cheaper than the top counter-depth refrigerators that have an ice maker, which can make it a popular choice.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

This Frigidaire French door refrigerator is a good option if you want a French-door fridge that doesn't break the budget. It's a simple fridge which may not be as attractive as its rivals however it has enough features to make it a an excellent choice. Its most significant feature, the adjustable temperature drawer, helps to keep food like vegetables and meat fresher for longer. It also comes with a large ice maker and a water dispenser.

Another nice feature is the "Chill Drawer" that sits above the two crisper bins. This drawer lets you redirect a portion of your fridge's cooling power to the area so that you can keep food items which need extra attention. This feature is adjustable using a slider located outside the drawer. You can also set the general cooling settings for the entire fridge. I have found that the generic settings are more effective than the specific ones.

In my experiments, I noticed that the temperatures of the refrigerator were fairly consistent in different areas of the refrigerator. The temperatures in the middle, top and bottom of the refrigerator didn't vary much from 38 degrees. This is a solid performance, but it isn't quite at the top of our ratings.

This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. The fridge can be linked with a smart thermostat in order to get more accurate readings on the internal temperature of your fridge.

The exterior of the Frigidaire is made from grey-bodied stainless with a "smudge proof" finish. It does an excellent job of preventing streaks and fingerprints from appearing, even compared to shiny stainless steel finishes on other appliances I've tested.
